José Eduardo de Lacerda Soares

José Eduardo de Lacerda is CEO and founding partner at Arsenal.

Mr. Lacerda was head of execution at Credit Suisse First Boston investment banking group in Brazil, being responsible for coordinating and overseeing the bank’s investment banking transactions in the country. Mr. Lacerda has spent his entire career in the investment banking industry and participated in a variety of transactions. Mr. Lacerda was a former executive of Donaldson, Lufkin & Jenrette, Banco de Investimentos Garantia and JPMorgan.

Mr. Lacerda was a board member of Metodo Engenharia, TAM Linhas Aéreas, Cromex S/A., Companhia Siderúrgica Nacional – CSN, Vicunha Têxtil S.A., Elizabeth S.A. – Indústria Têxil, Vicunha Participações S.A. and Vicunha Steel S.A.

Mr. Lacerda holds a BS degree in Finance from Fundação Getúlio Vargas and an MBA degree from the Wharton School at the University of Pennsylvania.

Pedro Paulo de Campos

Pedro Paulo de Campos is a partner and director at Arsenal.
With over 30 years of experience in private equity and investment banking. Mr. Campos was a partner at Patria Investimentos, founding partner at Angra Partners, managing director at Citigroup Latin America and president at GE Capital Latin America. Mr. Campos also worked in other international institution such as JP Morgan and Oppenheimer & Co.
Throughout his career, Mr. Campos has participated as a board member of several companies such as Brasil Telecom, Petropar, Telemig Participações, Impacta, Nova Agri, Gedako, Latasa, among others, and non-profit organizations such as American Graded School SP and SOS Villages Brazil.

Mr. Campos holds bachelor degrees in Engineering and Business Management from Federal University of Rio Grande do Sul.

Rodrigo Fernandes Arena
Rodrigo Arena is a partner and director of M&A at Arsenal.
Mr. Arena worked as a buy side analyst at Black River Asset Management, in São Paulo. He also worked as a consultant at Telefónica Strategic Planning Department, in São Paulo and Madrid offices. Prior to joining Telefónica, Mr. Arena worked as an analyst at the Corporate Finance team of BES Investimento in São Paulo office.

 
Mr. Arena holds a BS and MSc degree in Business Administration from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo.
Hugo Safraider
Hugo worked in Investment Banking at JP Morgan. He also worked in the tax department at Ulhôa Canto, Rezende e Guerra law firm.

Mr. Safraider holds BS degrees in Business Administration and Law from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo.

Eduardo Rugno
Eduardo worked in the M&A and Restructuring division at Excelia Gestão e Negócios. Previously he worked at the Luminae (GEF Capital portfolio company) FP&A department and in the Credit Risk Department at Itaú Unibanco.
 
Mr. Rugno holds a BS in Civil Engineering from Universidade Federal de São Carlos.

Alexandre Pazolini
Prior to joining Arsenal, Alexandre worked in fixed income and derivatives departments at BTG Pactual
Mr. Pazolini holds BS (Hons) degree in Mechanical Engineering from Queensland University of Technology
Patricia Barbosa
Patricia Barbosa is a partner at Arsenal. Mrs. Barbosa is responsible for the administration and finance areas.
Mrs. Barbosa worked at Multiplic Bank for the Financial Control, Strategic Planning and Management Information Systems department. She also worked at Pontual Bank for the Corporate Finance, Leasing and Financial Services department and at Bradesco Bank for the Credit department.

 
Patricia holds a BS degree in Business Administration and an MBA degree from Fundação Getúlio Vargas in São Paulo.
